Join us for the inaugural Decker Dash 5K—a community event featuring a timed 5K, a Kid Fun Run, and a Family Festival. Every registration helps support Stansbury High School students and programs while also advancing the Decker Foundation’s mission to expand educational opportunities around the world. 5K: A professionally timed 3.1-mile race starting at 8:00 AM at Stansbury High School. Open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
Kid Fun Run: Beginning at 9:15 AM, children will be divided into age groups and race one lap around the track against their group, with all races finishing before the 5K starts.
The Decker Dash is more than a 5K—it’s a chance to bring our community together in support of education. Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, you’ll enjoy a morning of fitness, family fun, and community while helping create opportunities for students. From the professionally timed race and Kid Fun Run to food, activities, and local vendors, there’s something for everyone.
Proceeds from the Decker Dash support programs at Stansbury High School while advancing the Decker Foundation’s mission to remove barriers to education. Your participation helps provide elementary school scholarships at PCEA Nanyuki Academy in Kenya, supports adults pursuing college degrees through our Mali Learning Center, and helps establish new educational opportunities in underserved communities.
The Decker Dash is an event the whole family can enjoy. The Family Festival runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, so while runners are out on the course—and long after they cross the finish line—you can enjoy food trucks, games, music, activities, and more. Come for the race and stay for a morning of family fun, great food, and community. Many activities are free, while Festival Tickets can be purchased for select games, activities, and Prize Raffle entries. 100% of Festival Ticket proceeds support educational initiatives through the Decker Foundation.
